Hey Shauna!
I just wanted to drop you a thank you note for the recent package. The guys loved the golf clubs! They were out using them right after it came in. We really can't thank you enough for all that you do for everyone. You are truly a blessing from Heaven above. We were really pulling for you in the Miss USA. We know that you represented very well. Thank you, again. I've attached a picture of one of the guys, PFC Penkert, with one of the clubs. I better get going for now. We can't be thankful enough for the good Lord blessing us with you and your family. You have been angels to us. In 18 years of service, I've never seen anyone so supportive of the guys. You are truly a blessing to us and the world as a whole. People like you and your family are very rare to find these days. You show that good people do exist in this world. I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart personally and also on behalf of the guys. Your presence has been an inspiration to all members of the Alpha battery family. We are so lucky to have you among us. You are always in our thoughts and prayers, as well. Thank you so much for all you do. Your efforts to help bring awareness to America for veterans with PTSD is also such an inspiration. Not many folks would even attempt to take on such a task. It's always a great pleasure to hear from you!! I'm never too busy to give a hand with anything you need. I'm sure the guys will be very grateful with just the thought that you care about them. Yep, I sure did send the pictures off. That was very sweet of you to honor LT Bock in such a manner. Congratulations and good luck! I will spread the word, and we will all be rooting for you! You will have to keep us updated on your success. That's sounds like a really good platform to get info out about that stuff. I'm sure a lot more folks other than us will be glad that you're doing that. We can't thank you enough for all that you've done for us. You have been our angel and hero, as well. Surprisingly, not many folks care to think about what goes on with the military, but you've made each and every one of the guys feel special. You've been an angel to us all, and we thank you for everything. It'll be neat if you get to come over this winter. I don't know if they will let you come out to any of our places because we're pretty far out, but maybe we will get to see you! We wish you the best of luck with the pageant!! We got your envelope here at Fob Tillman with the hand painted cards from those 4 yr olds. Thanks for being sweet, and thinking about us, and hopefully it helps you along with your chances at Ms. TN USA once again. Were busy shooting out here, pulling guard and waiting our time out until we get back. For a lot of us this is our third deployment so its just another day at the office. I read about you in the CU Alum letter and checked out your site. I graduated from there in 2004 and I am a teacher in Clarksville now. I held many offices in Alpha Sigma Tau as well as participating in chorus and competing with the cheerleaders. My senior year I met and fell in love with a soldier and after student teaching moved to Va where he had been transferred. He was a single dad serving his country. We married in 05 and I am now mom to our 7 and 8 year old little boys. We have been back at Ft Campbell for going on three years now and he just deployed to Bagram December 5th. Just writing to let you know if you need anything let me know!
